On May 12, the Young Israel of Teaneck will host its annual Teen Shabbos. For the past 11 years the weekly 8 a.m. teen minyan has taken over the main shul davening once a year. All kibbudim are handled by different teenagers, and for the past eight years a graduating high school senior has delivered a dvar Torah from the pulpit.

The Young Israel of Teaneck would like to recognize Josh Stiefel, Natan Solomon, Noam Steinmetz, Ilan Mendelson and Jared Gutlove for leading Shabbat davening. Special mention to gabbaim Azriel Muller and Natan Mendelson, along with baalai kriya Doni Bodoff, Omer Benharush, Ozzie Jesselson, Eitan Barenholtz, Netanel Vinar, Daniel Sarasohn and Andy Rosenberg. Yehuda Mazin rounds out the group by doing the haftarah, with Ari Solomon addressing the kehilah following davening.
