YU to Hold 99th Annual Chanukah Dinner on Dec. 3, Standing in Solidarity With Israel

The event, ‘Together With Israel,’ will affirm YU’s support of Israel, now and always.

(Courtesy of YU) Amid the continuing crisis in Israel and its impact around the world, Yeshiva University’s 99th Annual Chanukah Dinner will be a solidarity gathering to affirm the university’s support of Israel, now and always, as well as emphasize YU’s vital importance in the Jewish world. The event will be held on Sunday, December 3 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

Recent weeks have highlighted the distinct importance of Yeshiva University and its role in educating the next generation of Jewish leaders and defenders of Israel. The university and its community have exceptionally strong connections with Israel, which will be highlighted during the evening, including many students who have assumed leadership in events and initiative to raise funds and awareness, students who have served in the IDF, and Israeli and Zionistic faculty, among others. The University has many partnerships with Israeli universities, and the S. Daniel Abraham program—YU’s gap year program—has more than 700 student participants annually, the largest contingent of any U.S. university.

Yeshiva University’s students and alumni stand up for the strength and security of the Jewish community and Israel.
