YUConnects Addresses ‘Jew in the Workplace’

Can I use my workplace Keurig machine? How do I explain Shabbat on an interview?

Am I allowed to join colleagues for “happy hour” after work? And…hey…my tuna sandwich in the office fridge was unwrapped. What should I do?

These and many other practical scenarios will be addressed at the YUConnects “Jew in the Workplace” symposium at Yeshiva University’s Seforim Sale, Monday night, February 25, at 8 p.m. at 500 West 185th Street, NYC, Furst Hall, Room 501.

Featuring Rabbi Daniel Z. Feldman, Rosh Yeshiva at RIETS; Joel B. Strauss, Esq of Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP; Leah Gottfried of the popular “Soon By You” web series; and moderated by Suzy Schwartz, AVP at YU, alumni affairs and strategic development, this popular event is open to the entire community and geared for singles, ages 22 -32. It is co-sponsored by the Orthodox Union Dept. of Community Engagement.

Cost is $10, payable at the door, and sushi and snacks will be served. Opportunity to mingle and meet matchmakers in attendance. Participants get a special discount coupon for the seforim sale.
