(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Over 100 people gathered on ג׳ תמוז, the special day of the Rebbe, for a farbrengen. The guest speaker at the event was Rabbi Zushe Zilberstein, emissary of the Rebbe in Montreal, Canada. He spoke of the significance of the day and emphasized our duty of increasing the study of Torah and mitzvos through ahavas Yisroel. This was seen by the Rebbe, who possessed an unparalleled love of all Jews. In addition, Rabbi Zilberstein stressed that we should not be satisfied with just our own growth, but should do our best to encourage even one Jew to do even one more mitzvah. Thus, all Jews will be prepared for the great revelation of moshiach tzidkeinu.
The event was sponsored by the Libson and Kanchik families in memory of their father, Gregory Libson, z”l. A full dinner was served with lots of l’chaim.
