American Friends of Rambam Hosts ‘Evening of Miracles’ in NYC

More than 300 supporters of American Friends of Rambam (AFORAM) honored David and Mona Sterling of Muttontown, NY, at the organization’s annual “Evening of Miracles” gala.

The Sterlings have supported the work of the Rambam Health Care Campus for many years, and David has served as treasurer of AFORAM since 2006. He has also provided human resources assistance for the organization. In addition to this role, the couple has been instrumental in widening the network of supporters for the hospital.

“The Sterlings continue to be some of our greatest supporters in the United States; their contributions make possible the life-saving work we do at Rambam every day,” said Rambam Health Care Campus Director General Prof. Rafi Beyar, MD. “Through the help of our American friends, Rambam remains at the cutting edge of medical innovation and provides unparalleled patient care to the citizens of northern Israel.”

“David and Mona Sterling’s unwavering support, compassion and contributions make them critical members of the AFORAM community in the United States. We are privileged to honor them at this year’s gala,” added AFORAM Executive Director Michele Segelnick.

David Sterling is chairman and chief executive officer of SterlingRisk Insurance. Mona Sterling devotes herself to many humanitarian organizations, including the Women’s International Zionist Organization and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces.
