Art Exhibition Scheduled at Belskie Museum This Month

Sheryl Intrator Urman, an Englewood based artist and art lecturer, is the co-curator of a new show, “Hope out of the Darkness: An Artistic Interpretation,” to be held February 5 through February 26 at the Belskie Museum of Art and Science, located at 280 High Street in Closter. Fred Spinowitz, an artist from Riverdale, New York, who was awarded an Artist Residence by the Partnership2gether program, and has worked with Urman to produce the Belskie shows in the past, is a co-curator. This year an additional curator has joined their team: Abigail Meyer, who is

the researcher of Judaica at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

There will be an opening reception for the public on Sunday, February 5 from 12:30- 4:30 p.m.

Urman, Spinowitz and other participating artists will be giving talks throughout the show.
