Congregation Arzei Darom of Teaneck will hold its 12th annual dinner on Sunday, June 9, honoring long-time members Miles and Valerie Levin. The dinner will take place at 6 p.m. at Congregation Beth Shalom, 354 Maitland Ave., in Teaneck.
Miles Levin is central to the Adult Education and Ritual committees and serves as gabbai rishon. He is also a member of the board of directors. Professionally, he is a pathologist with Morristown Pathology Associates and works at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, where he specializes in hematopathology
Valerie served for many years on the board of directors, co-chaired the Youth Committee and works closely with the shul’s youth directors. Valerie also volunteers for Yavneh Academy, assists in the local B’nei Akiva youth group (Snif Chadash), and leads a shomer Shabbat Girl Scout troop. She was originally a nurse and application developer for hospital information systems.
