Robert Kalfus has photographed professionally for more than 4 decades, as a Long Island Press staff photographer, then for almost two decades at the New York Post, where he received more professional awards from his peers in the NY Press Photographers Association than all the other Post photographers. Kalfus worked for NY Daily News, NY Times, the Associated Press and the Jewish Week, and still works, contributing regularly.
