After a slow first 4 minutes, B&B jumped out to a lead and never really looked back. MVP Noah Rubinstein led the way with 20 points while Noah Sosland drained multiple outside bank shots. Shlomo Wenger showed off his passing abilities to Dov Zomberg who cleaned up down low with Azarya Rosenberg and Joshua London grabbing the boards.

Naftali Normand, Elliya Bracha, Jack Yunis and Aharon Cohen played stifling defense up top, shutting down the high scoring EW Berger who were led by sensational point guard Andi Richman and big men Howie Rudolph and Gavi Engel in the paint.

A spectator told the JLNJ, “Perhaps the finest moment of the day was when, with 30 seconds left, play was stopped and all the players and fans lined up along the sideline to give the referee, James, a standing ovation as the league acknowledged that this was going to be his final game officiating after six years, since he was moving to the west coast to be closer to his family.” The kids then each gave him a high five and gathered for a picture, after which play resumed.
