BCHSJS students participated in their fall shabbaton this past weekend. The shabbaton took place at Congregation Keter Torah in Teaneck. Students slept in the homes of Teaneck families on Friday night, and Shabbat breakfast was held in the home of Joy Sklar who runs the Bergen County Chanukah Toy Drive. Joy gave the students a personal tour of her basement where all the collected toys are sorted and stored until they are packed for distribution. The students then returned to Congregation Keter Torah for Shabbat services, engaging programming and lots of fun and games. The evening activity was a trip to SkyZone in Allendale where the students had a high-flying fun time.
