Hi! Last week’s cufflinks were Batman symbols, and many of you got real creative. I was going for 1) Batman is The Dark Knight. Get it, dark night? 1b) The Israelites escaped Egypt during the dark night. 2) Bruce Wayne is a first-born son. 3) When the Isrealites were in trouble, they sent up their version of a bat signal.
To this, random folks on Shabbat offered that Moses was a dispenser of vigilante justice (clever!), the Egyptians hung around and were immovable during choshech (like!), HaShem bat-tered the Egyptians around with his makot (nice!).
May the creative streak continue! Let’s see feather you can tie these cufflinks in to this beak’s parsha. What a hoot. Hope this doesn’t fly over your head. Ojay, I’ll stop, I’m talon you.
