RKYHS had the special privilege of welcoming Floyd Mayweather to school. The well known boxing legend has been outspoken in his support of Israel and the Jewish people, particularly post-October 7, and has visited the country numerous times. Mayweather shared his message with students to stay positive and to stay humble. He stressed the importance of treating people with respect and of appreciating those around you, impressing upon them that we are stronger together than apart. Mayweather answered student questions about his visits to Israel, any backlash he’s received for his support of Israel, what inspires him and more. His heartfelt remarks to the students today displayed his role as a champion both in and out of the ring.
