(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) A memorial service was held at the Bris Avrohom Shul in memory of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, HY”D. Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky made a siyum on mesechet Bikurim in memory of Rabbi Kogan and Rabbi Dovid Wilansky recited Kaddish.

A farbrengen followed in honor of Rosh Chodesh Kislev, which marks the day the Rebbe experienced a great miracle and recovered from a massive heart attack. Rabbi Kanelsky shared the story of the miraculous recovery. A festive meal was served, co-sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Dovid Hoffer in honor of the yahrzeit of Mr. Hoffer’s mother, Pesha Faiga, z”l, and by Rabbi and Mrs. Mordechai Kanelsky in honor of their son Zalmy’s birthday.
