(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Bris Avrohom arranged for three sofrim to come to the shul to check tefillin and mezuzahs for the community. It is written in the Shulchan Aruch that one should have his mezuzah and tefillin checked during the month of Elul as preparation for the new year.

If anyone missed the opportunity and would like to have their tefillin and/or mezuzah checked, call the shul office at (908) 289-0770 and they will make every effort to accommodate the caller.
