(Bruriah sports) The Bruriah Lightning JV Basketball Team celebrated an incredible win on Tuesday, with their 43-30 playoff win against Naaleh. As last year’s reigning champs, the Lightning hopes to defend their title and bring home another championship.

With team captains Emunah Feuerstein and Kayla Speyer at the helm, the Lightning has witnessed a season of remarkable teamwork and athleticism. Lightning Coach Dena Lichtman marveled at the team’s accomplishments: “Continuing the momentum from last season has been unbelievable. Watching the team members who were with us last season work together so seamlessly with this year’s new recruits has been a pleasure to watch.”

The Lightning will face off in the Championship game against SKA at the end of February in what is sure to be an exciting match.  Let’s go Lightning!
