The 2s class at the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School loves going on nature walks. This week it was cloudy, so they went on a walk to look for the sun. They used their eyes and sometimes used a “telescope,” made from a paper towel tube. They looked for it up in the sky, behind trees, houses, in their coat pockets, in their hands, under their feet and on the playground. It was a lot of fun and through this activity the children used their imagination and enriched their vocabulary.
