Congregation Adath Israel, on Thursday evenings at 8:30 p.m., continues with its Chaburah lecture series.
On April 23, the speaker will be Rabbi Ezra Schwartz, Rosh Yeshiva at YU’s REITS and rabbi at the Mt. Sinai Jewish Center in Washington Heights. He will be speaking on “The Challenges of Maintaining Medinat Yisrael: Acquiring and Selling Israel.”
On April 30, the speaker will be Rav Elisha Bacon, mashgiach ruchani and assistant Dean at YU, and former faculty member at RTMA. His topic will be “Passing Excitement? Shehechiyanu and Sefira.”
On May 14, the speaker will be Rabbi Dani Rapp, visiting assistant professor at YU and Associate Dean of Students and Undergraduate Torah Studies. He is also a judge at the Bet Din of America. His topic is to be announced.
