On Friday, May 1, the (1-1) Lexus of Englewood baseball team from the majors division, bounced back late in the game and defeated the (0-2) Net @ Work team 5-3. Net @ Work’s Max Burgida started the game on the mound and pitched well, recording five strikeouts. Additionally, there was smart fielding by Net @ Work’s Jacob Borenstein, who helped his team record a ‘triple play’ in the third inning. However, Lexus of Englewood’s David Cedeńo and Isaac Horowitz took control of this ball game with their pitching and batting. Together, they put up unbelievable stats: nine strikeouts (pitching), three ‘little league’ home runs and a triple. The Lexus drive of the game goes to Cedeńo’s solo shot to center field in the bottom of the 2nd.
