Flair, a clothing store for women and juniors, is planning to open on Sunday, March 20, at the Brook Haven Mall in Passaic. Flair will have a large variety of fashions for all occasions: tee shirts and skirts for casual, everyday living; smart styles for the working woman; elegance for Shabbat and sophisticated glamor for simchas. Sizes range from 12 junior, good for pre-teens, to ladies 3x. Chanie Koplowitz, a co-owner, said the store will have looks for all tastes, from very traditional to the latest designs. “Flair will be a spacious, well-priced women’s clothing store with a good variety and friendly atmosphere.” Flair will carry many of the top names in modest women’s fashions including Sara Navon, Paisley, Paper Parachute, Dot and Line, Ivee, Edera, Pinto, Front Row, Sport Chic, Baby O, Paniz, Pascal and others.
Describing some of the fashion trends that guided her choices for the store, Koplowitz said sets and separates are an expanding category and dresses are still de rigueur for Shabbat and simchot. Color is definitely something people want to see when they walk into a store, but they tend to buy more black. “We have plenty of black and lots of color to go with it at Flair,” she said. Gray is being replaced by newer-trending shades of tan, brown and cognac. Hem lines vary from knee length to midi and maxi.
