Freshly Rolled Ice Cream Brings Dessert to a Town Near You

Freshly Rolled Ice Cream, based in Staten Island, recently took its treats to locations in Essex County. The rolled ice cream is a new addition to Make It Snappy, an event-planning business that has been around for 20 years. Now, Freshly Rolled Ice Cream is available to cater bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings, parties, summer camps, shuls and more. The company is under the supervision of the Vaad Harabonim of Staten Island.

Looking to safely expand the communities it serves amid the coronavirus pandemic, Freshly Rolled Ice Cream found that communities in Essex County, only 30 minutes from Staten Island, were an easy option. The next requirement was a venue with a parking lot large enough to accommodate social distancing. B’nai Shalom in West Orange was a perfect location.

In a safe and socially distanced manner, West Orange customers were able to observe the process of the ice cream being poured into a -20° pan, chopped, scraped, spread and rolled, with delicious toppings added on. Although the weather did not cooperate, customers still flocked to the synagogue for a taste of this novelty dessert. The following week, on a sunny afternoon, Livingston residents were able to sample these frozen treats in the Suburban Torah parking lot.

Freshly Rolled Ice Cream offers delicious desserts with names like Fudging the Truth, Gimme S’more Please, The Nutty Professor, The Chunky Monkey, The Unicorn and others, all available in dairy, pareve and cholov yisroel options. You can also choose the mix-and-match option, and pick your ice cream flavor, three choppings (mix-ins) and three toppings. With an easy-to-navigate website and order process, customers can pick the day and time to pick up their order in Staten Island, or can order for a specific pick-up time at the remote locations identified on the website.

With summer approaching, and with warmer weather and longer days keeping families outdoors, ice cream will certainly be in higher demand. For a twist on the traditional ice cream truck, give Freshly Rolled Ice Cream a try.

The company is currently looking for new towns to visit. If you want them in your community, go to freshlyrolledicecream.com or call 917-567-7383.
