The HANC Hurricanes returned to the Weather Center for the first time since November, this time to meet the varsity soccer Storm in the first round of the playoffs. Star player Uri Gulich returned to the lineup after an injury sidelined him for the last game of the season. Gulich exploded for six goals on the night and terrorized the Hurricanes who had no answers in defending him. Thanks to defenders Doni Bodoff and Menachem Kravetz, the Hurricanes were shut out for the entire first quarter and were held to one goal all half. While HANC got plenty of shots on goal, they couldn’t get past goalie Avraham Kahan. The Storm’s total domination on the court was reflected in the final score of 11-3. On to the semifinals!
