In case you have not heard, all the fall yomim tovim are in October this year. It will be cool enough to wear our fall and winter outfits, and we have enough time to find new hats to wear. The kids will all be back in school, open school nights will be done and the moms may be able to leave the homework duties for a while and escape to buy a new hat. We are looking forward to an even larger turnout this season for the semi-annual Teaneck trunk show by Hedy’s Hats.
For those of you not in the “know,” Hedy Needle brings a large collection of the latest stunning hats (in all price ranges) to Teaneck twice a year. This time around, she will be here for two nights, Wednesday, September 21, and Thursday, September 22, from 7-10 p.m.

What kind of hats will Hedy bring?
Hedy brings a large selection of hats from well-known designers and designers whom you may never have heard of, one-of-a-kind hats, dressy as well as casual hats, everyday soft hats, fascinators, headbands and Israeli hats that she goes to select herself.
Does Hedy do special orders?
Yes, special orders are welcome. Larger head sizes, special colors and hats for your simcha, all in time for yom tov this year and mailed right to your home.
Does Hedy discount?
Absolutely!
How is the selection on the second night?
Hedy brings even more hats. Some people come both nights to make sure they don’t miss a thing.
Can I pre-order?
Yes. Visit the designer’s website online and check with Hedy. Please call 917-640-4649 at least 10 days before the hat show.
Is there any pressure to buy?
Never! Just come by and have a good time.
Will anyone else be selling there?
On Wednesday night only, just in time for Bat Mitzvah season, Stephanie Kaufman from jewelrybadger.com will bring a large collection of crystal and ‘you can’t believe it’s not real’ jewelry.
What if I can’t make it? When will Hedy be back?
Hedy will be back in the spring. However, she has a store in Flatbush, Brooklyn at 1323 Avenue P (corner of P and 13th St, basement entrance). There is an incredible selection, but bring a friend to help with parking. Please call the store at 718-376-7695 for more information.
