This past weekend, Heichal seniors enjoyed an uplifting shabbaton in Teaneck, hosted by Heichal Rosh Yeshiva Rav Aryeh Stechler and area families. Shabbos began with a beautiful davening at Lev v’Nefesh, where Rav Stechler shared divrei chizuk with the senior grade, highlighting their incredible accomplishments over the past three years in the yeshiva and noting what is still yet to come. Friday evening, the Stechler family graciously opened their home to a beautiful Friday night seuda, filled with singing, divrei Torah and ruach. Following the Friday night seuda, the seniors had the opportunity to hear Rav Hanoch Teller at Congregation Beth Abraham, and then returned to the Stechler home for continued oneg Shabbos and spirited singing. Talmidim enjoyed Shabbos morning seudos at their respective hosts, learning sedarim during the afternoon and seuda shelishis with words of inspiration from Mara d’Asra Rav Yaakov Neuberger. The weekend ended on a high note with a lively and inspirational melave malka at the Zilberstein home, with niggunim sung deep into the night. It was a memorable shabbaton for the senior grade and all who participated.
