The Highland Park Community Kollel is pleased to announce that the guest of honor at this year’s breakfast will be Dr. Arnie Lustiger. The breakfast will take place Sunday morning, January 16, at Congregation Ohr Torah in Edison.

Dr. Lustiger received his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia and presently does research for ExxonMobil on the properties of plastics. He is an avid devotee of the Rav (Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik) and edited three books, based on selected tapes of the Rav’s lectures in Yiddish: “Before Hashem You Shall Be Purified: Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik on the Days of Awe” published in 1998, “Derashot Harav, Selected Lectures of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik” in 2003 and, both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur machzorim with commentary adapted from the teachings of the Rav.

The guest speaker at the Highland Park Community Kollel breakfast will be Rabbi Yehuda Leib Eichenstein, rosh yeshiva of Rabbi Jacob Joseph School and rav of Congregation Ateres Shlomo.
