The Yeshivat Noam Middle School commemorated Kristallnacht with two programs. The eighth graders heard from Mrs. Marta Felberbaum a Holocaust survivor. She told the students about growing up in Czechoslovakia and being taken away from her family in Auschwitz. A small group of eighth graders had the unique opportunity to eat lunch with Mrs. Felberbaum and were able to ask her questions. Later in the day, the sixth and seventh graders had a presentation in the Beit Knesset about the historical lessons of Kristallnacht and how they need to stand up against injustice.
