(JNS) Last Friday, the Iranian Ayatollah Movahedi-Kermani addressed Iran in a speech regarding the country’s use of uranium. Claiming to have exceeded their uranium enrichment limit, the Ayatollah said he would enrich uranium “in any form, level or amount that is necessary” purely for purposes of scientific research. After asserting that Tehran was not in any need for more nuclear bombs, he said they could launch any other missiles at Israel’s reactor in Dimona, in which case Israel would be destroyed from the explosion of their own 200 nuclear bombs. In addition to these threats, he declared, “If we are attacked, the Persian Gulf will turn red.” Invigorated by their leader’s aggressive words, the Iranian audience thereafter shouted, “Allahu Akbar! Khamenei is the leader! Death to those who oppose the Rule of the Jurisprudent! Death to America! Death to England! … Death to Israel!”
