(Courtesy of Israel Bonds) On January 12, Israel Bonds Rockland/Bergen, in collaboration with the New City Jewish Center and Congregation Sons of Israel—Nyack, hosted a powerful and heartfelt event to show unwavering support for Israel. The gathering brought together approximately 85 attendees from the local communities and honored 15 members who have made a difference since the war began on Oct. 7, 2023.
The event featured guest speaker, Corey Feldman, who shared his personal experiences from his time in Israel following the Oct.7 attacks. His words resonated deeply with the audience, offering a poignant and firsthand account of the resilience of the Israeli people in the face of adversity.
In addition to Corey’s impactful address, the event recognized and honored several outstanding members from both the New City Jewish Center and Congregation Sons of Israel—Nyack. These individuals have shown remarkable dedication and generosity in their support of Israel during this difficult time. Their efforts have included fundraising, advocacy and mobilizing resources to aid in humanitarian relief and other essential initiatives.
As the event ended, attendees left inspired and empowered, knowing that their collective actions could make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in Israel. It was a reminder that no matter the distance, the bond between Israel and its supporters across the world remains unbreakable.
