(Courtesy of JBN) The Jewish Business Network, based in the Rivertowns section of Westchester, hosted a sold-out Women’s Business and Healthcare Soiree that brought together a remarkable gathering of women leaders and professionals for an evening of connection, inspiration and career development.
The event, held at an upscale scenic venue overlooking the Hudson River in Irvington, New York, provided a platform for attendees to learn from esteemed industry leaders and discuss personal experiences, work-life balance, mentorship and the importance of Jewish values in their professional careers.
The JBN Women’s Business Soiree proved to be an enjoyable and memorable occasion, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. With an electric atmosphere of empowerment, attendees were inspired by the wisdom shared by select industry leaders during panel discussions and presentations.

Malka Shalit, president of Greenridge Management Corp., delivered an exceptional keynote speech that resonated deeply with the audience. Her invaluable insights and remarkable achievements served as a testament to the power of determination and perseverance as she shared stories about her life growing up in Israel and subsequently launching a successful real estate development company in the U.S. while giving back to the Jewish community through philanthropy.
Chayale Levitin, director of JBN Women’s Division, discussed the power of Jewish women from the lens of Judaism and reflected on the special mitzvah of lighting Shabbat candles and its eternal lessons for our lives and careers in preparing the world for the era of redemption.
The event also featured an esteemed panel of industry experts who generously shared their expertise and experiences. Dr. Marsha Gordon, president/CEO of The Business Council of Westchester’ Karen Banoff, vice president of organizational performance at White Plains Hospital; Faith G. Miller, Esq., partner at Miller Zeiderman LLP; Lisa M. Fischman, managing director at Greystone; Michele Schimmel, Health and Wellness Marketing Communications; and Cindy Kief, The Kief Team, The Corcoran Group, captivated the audience with their knowledge, personal experiences and unique perspectives.
