JCC of Central NJ to Host Presentation on ‘Israel and Water’

The Israel Support Committee of Central New Jersey invites you to discover how Israel transformed itself from a country lacking water to a water super power with technology it has shared with other countries.

The speaker, Michelle Levy Baruch, has been involved in research projects on water resource management for 25 years. She has worked with the Israel Ministry of the Environment, the Water Resources Institute of the Technion, Haifa University and the JNF. Baruch leads tours for international delegations of Israel water technology and infrastructure sites.

Baruch will be speaking Tuesday, August 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC of Central NJ, 1391 Martine Ave. in Scotch Plains. The talk is open to the public. Light refreshments will be available. A $10 donation is suggested.

The Israel Support Committee represents Chabad of Union County of Scotch Plains, Congregation Anshe Chesed of Linden, Congregation Beth Israel of Scotch Plains, Congregation Israel of Springfield, Temple Beth El/Mekor Chayim of Cranford, Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah of Clark, Temple Emanu-El of Westfield, Temple Sholom of Scotch Plains and Union County Torah Center-Chabad of Westfield.
