Rabbi Eliezer Zwickler, Rav of Congregation AABJ&D of West Orange, NJ, and a proud parent of students in each of the three divisions of the Jewish Educational Center—Yeshiva of Elizabeth, Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy and Bruriah High School—visited with YOE second graders last week to teach them about brachot and learn about the power of tefillah.

Students enjoyed a delicious breakfast to celebrate the new Birkat HaShachar initiative introduced in their division, called “Birkat HaShachar, Breakfast & Beyond,” which includes learning the brachot that they say in the morning and how they apply to their lives. After breakfast, students decorated their own Netilat Yadayim washing cups.
