The installation of a brand new reading magnifier at the Jewish Educational Center is providing much-needed assistance for students requiring extra help with their vision. RTMA Middle School faculty member Christine Harrington generously supplied the apparatus after acquiring it from a neighbor whose relative suffered from ocular degeneration. She said that the results are already incredible, citing a student who, “uses a laptop to magnify all his work and as much text as possible. The reader allows him to clearly see small text that we cannot find online or magnify through the copier. It’s a nice piece of technology,” she exclaimed enthusiastically.
