Allison Josephs, founder/director of “Jew in the City,” will speak about Project Makom at Congregation Beth Aaron on Sunday, December 11, at 8:15 p.m.
Jew in the City was founded to break down stereotypes about religious Jews and offers a humorous, meaningful look into Orthodox Judaism through the power of new media. Project Makom is an initiative of JITC, which helps former and questioning Chareidi Jews find their place in Orthodoxy.
Allison Josephs has been involved in the field of Jewish outreach for over 15 years, working at Partners in Torah, Sinai Retreats and NCSY. She was named one of NJOP’s Top Ten Jewish Influencers in 2012 and was one of the Jewish Week’s 36 under 36 in 2013. Congregation Beth Aaron is located at 950 Queen Anne Road.
