On Saturday night, September 24, the Jewish Center of Teaneck will present a pre-Selichot musical program with the well-known Yiddish performers Zalmen Mlotek and his sons Avram and Elisha. It will begin at 10 p.m. and be followed by a talk by Rabbi Daniel Fridman, new spiritual leader of the synagogue, at 12:30 a.m. Selichot, also conducted by Rabbi Fridman, will start at 12:50 a.m.
The community is invited to join the Jewish Center in what promises to be meaningful preparation, in both music and prayer, for the High Holidays.
