Jewish Family Service Of Central NJ Gala Dinner Raises Over $700,000

(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) Over 200 individuals attended the Jewish Family Service of Central NJ’s (JFSCNJ) Gala Dinner, December 7 at the Crystal Plaza, Livingston, to pay tribute to honorees and supporters of the Agency, raising over $700,000 in funding to maintain programs serving over 10,000 individuals a year. The Gala Dinner is the main fundraiser that supports mental health, nursing, homecare, programs for Holocaust survivors, and food insecurity programs that serve the Union County community.

David Brooks, past JFSCNJ president and honoree, hosted the event that honored Ronnie, Alex and Dylan Onanono of Blue Industries; Holly and Jonathan Strelzik; Craig Eckenthal; and Christopher Hudak. Esteemed board members Phyllis Bernstein-Kuchner; Bernice Fleischmann; Joseph M. Fox; and Larry and Myra Hoffman, who recently passed away, were remembered for their contributions to the Agency.

The dinner committee included: David Brooks, Mark L. Ginsberg, Toby Goldberger, Michael H. Gottlieb, Eric Harvitt, Jennifer Marshall Sofield, Donald Shapiro, Sherry and Henry Stein, Arielle Traub and Mark Wilf.
