Rockleigh—The Jewish Home Family will celebrate its 98th anniversary on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at The Rockleigh. The Family will honor one of the community’s most illustrious synagogues, Temple Emanu-El of Closter.
The synagogue’s commitment to the community begins with the leadership of Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner and the development of and participation in programs with Jewish Home residents such as the monthly Shabbat Service Family Program; Family Nite Programs; Youth Mitzvah Programs; Volunteer Outreach Programs, and participation in the Jewish Home’s Holiday Hot Kosher Meals-On-Wheels Program to name just a few.
This is the first time that the Jewish Home Family has honored one of the community’s congregations and underscores the theme of the evening—that caring is truly magical.
Entertainment at the Gala will be provided by Jason Michaels, a magician and illusionist, who is one of today’s premier corporate event entertainers. Known for his “Vegas quality show,” Jason interacts with his audiences with humor and energy.
The Gala will take place at The Rockleigh, 26 Paris Avenue, Rockleigh, N. J. 07647, beginning at 5:30 p. m. for cocktails, followed by dinner and entertainment. Tickets are $300 per person; $180 for first time attendees. Temple Emanuel-El volunteers under 21 will be guests if accompanied by an adult. Please RSVP by September 30th by calling Molly Shulman at (201) 784-1414, Ext. 5539.
