Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Holds First Fall Family Festival

(Courtesy of Kaplen JCC on the Palisades) To celebrate the season in all its glory, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades recently hosted its first Fall Family Festival, where more than 1,000 people in our community got to enjoy a petting zoo, art experiences, pony rides, a photo booth, pumpkin painting, face painting, name graffiti art, a fabulous DJ and lots of delicious food served from incredible kosher food trucks featuring yummy desserts. It was a great day that celebrated community at its best.

“We are always looking for new ways to engage our members, as well as families outside of our JCC community,” says Brandis Bukzin, program coordinator/administrative assistant. “We are truly the heart of the local Jewish community and the place so many people come to celebrate holiday events and spend time as a family,” adds Devin Zukofsky, early childhood director. “Our new Fall Family Festival met this goal to great success and allowed us to showcase who and what we are.”

The JCC looks to welcome the community to fun family events several times a year, so keep your eyes and ears open for more upcoming fun, by visiting www.jccotp.orgor following the JCC on Facebook at KaplenJCCOTP.
