Kol Chaverim has been preparing for Rosh Hashanah by voting on their favorite apples, measuring their bodies with apples, tasting honey, making applesauce and apple pie and apple painting. The children also enjoyed a visit from Rabbi Ely Shestack who came to blow shofar in all the classrooms. They learned about the different sounds a shofar makes and the different kinds of shofar that people use. They love learning through music, painting, graphing, baking and more!
