Lamdeinu’s Third Annual Chanukah Breakfast: A Proud Celebration

(Courtesy of Lamdeinu) It was a record-setting morning on Sunday, December 3, at Lamdeinu’s Third Annual Chanukah Breakfast. This year, the Torah Institute honored two dynamic local women leaders, garnering an impressive attendance of over 150 men and women. The spirited event recognized the contributions of Lamdeinu student Mrs. Mollie K. Fisch and Lamdeinu teacher Rebbetzin Shira Schiowitz. The event was chaired by Patty Borodach of Teaneck and Miriam Goldberg of Riverdale.

Lamdeinu’s mission to “study in depth and be inspired” was showcased as local rabbis, teachers, yoatzot halachah, students and friends of the school came to hear divrei Torah and celebrate the success of the school. Dean Rachel Friedman and the honorees gave stimulating and inspiring presentations, with Mrs. Fisch pronouncing that “Lamdeinu affords a special niche…for Torah-related study in Teaneck.” She underscored that the dynamic of adults learning together in depth in a beit midrash atmosphere is a very unique opportunity. As Program Director Ruth Hartstein noted, it was a memorable morning and a proud celebration. Mazel tov to the honorees.
