Lavy House in Westfield Offers New Programs for October

The Memory Café at the Lavy House will take place Tuesday, October 23, 12:00-2:00 p.m. The Memory Café program provides a casual time to enjoy lunch, social activities and entertainment for individuals with early to moderate Alzheimer’s Disease/dementia and their care partners. It is open, free of charge, to Alzheimer’s/dementia caregivers in the community and their loved ones. A light lunch will be served. Kosher dietary laws observed.

Registration  is required for the Memory Café as space is limited. To register, call Naomi Kreutzer, MSW, LCSW, at 908-352-8375.

The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House is a joint venture between Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, Temple Emanu-El of Westfield and The Westfield United Fund. Through a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ provides programming and the services of social worker Naomi Kreutzer, MSW, LCSW, each Tuesday. Programs are free of charge and open to the entire community.
