This past week, the Model Chinuch League hosted its first competition of the year at Ma’ayanot. The excitement was palpable as students from Ma’ayanot, Central, Rambam, Ezra Academy and Frisch gathered together to present their model lessons on their topic of choice from Parshiyot Vayera, Chayei Sarah and Toldot.

The competition consisted of two rounds where the “teachers” gave over their lessons in breakout groups to one another and were scored by a judge. At the end of the event, everyone reconvened for an exciting dinner and awards ceremony. This was an incredible opportunity for students to showcase their passion for Torah and express their creativity through slide shows, source sheets and interactive activities.
