Ma’ayanot faculty and students were honored to welcome back members of the StandWithUs “Tevel” delegation from Israel.  StandWithUs TEVEL is a prestigious leadership and public diplomacy program that empowers Israeli youth from diverse backgrounds across the country. This year-long program equips dedicated high school students with in-depth knowledge on a range of topics, preparing them to serve as future Israeli ambassadors and lead the fight against antisemitism. Founded in 2019, TEVEL began with two groups in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, comprising 50 students. In 2020, the program expanded to include new groups in Be’er Sheva and Ra’anana, as well as a second-year program, growing to a total of 100 students.

During their visit to Ma’ayanot, the delegation engaged with students in two meaningful ways. First, they met with each grade, sharing their personal stories from October 7 and answering questions about their experiences. Then, the entire 12th grade was divided into smaller groups, where each group had the opportunity to engage in an in-depth Q&A session with two TEVEL members, fostering deeper conversations and connections.
