‘Medicare Changes for 2018’ to Be Addressed at Lavy House

An informational program called “Medicare Changes for 2018,” for seniors and their families, will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 11:30 a.m. at the Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House, 748 E. Broad Street, Westfield, New Jersey. The program will be presented by Elyse Drucker, Union County coordinator for SHIP. A light lunch will be served. Dietary laws observed.

SHIP is a statewide program providing free help to NJ Medicare beneficiaries who need assistance with their health insurance. Beneficiaries can make changes to their networks and coverage during this time, so it is best to check each year.

The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House is a joint venture between Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, Temple Emanu-El of Westfield and The Westfield United Fund. Through a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ provides programming and the services of social worker Naomi Kreutzer, LCSW, each Tuesday. Programs are free of charge and open to the entire community.

Registration is recommended if you plan to attend. Contact email [email protected] or 908-352-8375.
