The American Friends of Migdal Ohr (AFMO) participated in the Generosity Series 5K Run/Walk for the second year in a row this November. They were one of 13 organizations that Generosity Series brought together in Riverside Park, New York City for a fun and inspirational day where charitable giving met fitness.

Team Migdal Ohr consisted of 26 registered participants from all over the tri-state area including their three co-chairs: Laurie Lasher of New York City, Michael Levine of Teaneck and Devorah Schreck of Brooklyn. They were also proud to receive support from corporate sponsors Meltzer Lippe, Main Event-Mauzone, IDB Bank and Star Communications.

Due to the outstanding fundraising efforts of all of the participants and the generosity of their friends and family and the corporate sponsors, Team Migdal Ohr has raised over $24,000, with more donations still on the way! Furthermore, Migdal Ohr had five of the top ten fundraisers for the whole event, including AFMO’s Executive Vice President Norman Gildin who received an award for being the second highest fundraiser for the entire event.
