Ben Porat Yosef’s Tzeydah Laderech, (provisions for the road) is a program for eighth grade students designed to connect them with community leaders and educators from whom they can learn and be inspired. Each visiting rabbi, teacher or head of school who meets with the eighth grade addresses the theme of living a life filled with Torah. Mrs. Rivka Kahan, principal of Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School, led the most recent Tzeydah Laderech session. She focused on the roles of women in Orthodox Judaism.
