(Courtesy of Naaleh High School for Girls) On May 22, over 450 guests gathered at Keter Torah in Teaneck for Naaleh High School’s annual dinner celebrating Naaleh at Five. Guests enjoyed a beautiful buffet dinner and a night out with their extended Naaleh family.
The program was moving and inspirational, with divrei Torah from Naaleh’s own faculty member Rabbi Andrew Markowitz. Head of School Deena Kobre and Board President Jonathan Neiss spoke eloquently in honoring Mr. and Mrs. Aryeh and Mirlana Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron and Rachel Kopstick, and Dr. and Dr. Barry and Lisa Schanzer for their pivotal roles in the school’s establishment and continued growth. Naaleh seniors Elisheva Kelsen and Shira Kovacs spoke beautifully about Mrs. Renee Schneier, recipient of the Faculty Recognition Award and inaugural faculty member, highlighting her incredible four-year studio art program and her loving dedication to her students.
The evening ended with a video tribute, “The Letter, Part 2,” showcasing the school’s continued growth with almost 200 students while remaining a close-knit Naaleh family. With the generous support of so many members of the extended Naaleh family, the event raised close to $450,000.
