(Courtesy of NORPAC) On Monday evening, Miriam and Allen Pfeiffer welcomed back to their home Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL) for a NORPAC event.

Dan Lipinski represents Illinois’ 3rd District which includes the west and southwest suburbs of Chicago. He was sworn in to begin his first term in the 109th Congress on January 4, 2005.

In 2015, Rep. Lipinski was one of two dozen members in his party to vote against the Iran Deal in the House of Representatives.

During the event, the Congressman discussed his involvement in bipartisan efforts to push forward legislation during an extremely polarized time in our country’s Legislative branch. He is a co-sponsor of H.Res.246 – Opposing efforts to delegitimize Israel and the Global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement targeting Israel – a bill that has gained wide support in both parties.

Congressman Dan Lipinski will be up for re-election next November.
