NORPAC Hosts Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) in Englewood

On Sunday morning, Naomi and Dr. Daniel Feuer co-hosted an event in Englewood with Drs. Lynn Sugarman and David Wisotsky for Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC).

Mark Meadows was elected to Congress after a 27-year career as a small business owner. He sits on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee where, since 2015, he has served as chairman of the subcommittee on Government Operations. He also sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he serves on the subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa.

Meadows came to recognition among the pro-Israel community when, in 2014, he introduced the Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Act. This legislation, which passed the following year with overwhelming support, cut off Hezbollah’s access to U.S. banks. During the event, the Congressman discussed his follow-up legislation that would tighten sanctions even further by disallowing U.S. banks to deal with other entities working with Hezbollah.

Congressman Mark Meadows is finishing his third term in Congress and will be seeking re-election this November.
