BDS advocates have been clamoring for ever greater sanctions against Israel, and the movement is now going after state leaders, such as New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, who courageously stood up to them by enacting laws to combat bias and hate against Israel last week.
Legislation, which has been introduced in the NJ State Senate (S1923) and General Assembly (A925), will reaffirm strong opposition to BDS and similar harmful measures and, at the same time, make a strong statement about the importance of the NJ-Israel relationship. This measure is set to be voted on in the State Assembly on Monday, June 27.
