Rabbi Orlowek is a world-renowned Jewish educator, lecturing on five continents, and the author of three books predominantly in the areas of parenting, teaching and interpersonal relationships. He lectures in several Jerusalem yeshivas and seminaries—from Mir to Aish Hatorah—on relationships and character building, and advises students on a weekly basis. Rabbi Orlowek also serves as mashgiach, providing spiritual and life guidance to students in Yeshivas Torah Ore in Jerusalem.
Dr. Ilan Rozansky, sponsor of the shabbaton, recalled learning at Aish Hatorah and seeing a constant flow of all types of people entering Rabbi Orlowek’s office for advice every week. “After months of watching this, I decided to check out what was going on and made an appointment to meet him,” Rozansky said. “After talking for a while and asking him some questions, Rabbi Orlowek told me, ‘You’re asking the wrong questions.’ I was blown away.”

In his more than 40 years of working with parents and students alike, Rabbi Orlowek has developed an approach to parenting and life that has been successfully adopted by the students he has taught. He resides in Jerusalem with his wife and children.
