Rebbetzin Rivka Jaffe and the women of Congregation Ahavas Yisrael in Edison were pleased to host Rabbanit Shani Taragin at a siyum on February 19 to celebrate their completion of sefer Nevi’im. Jaffe told The Jewish Link: “We started Yehoshua over a year ago and just completed all of Nevi’im. We just began learning Ketuvim last Shabbos.”

Roughly 30 women, including representatives from a few other shuls in the area, enjoyed a sumptuous dinner prepared by the rebbetzin and held in her home. Attendees heard a rousing talk from Rabbanit Taragin about the sefer they had just completed and the deep significance of some of the prophecies they had read.
